Motivational Speaker - Dr. Steve Bedwell

As A Motivational Speaker...

I use humor, visual metaphors and real-life examples to challenge the taken-for-granted myths that cripple thinking, fuel frustration and suffocate success.

Every motivational speech is jam-packed with wildly visual “rivet your eyeballs to the stage” demonstrations. (I even choke down a balloon to clarify a mission critical principle.)

And I’ve psychologically blueprinted every split second (and sweated every word) of my motivational speeches to ensure they target the brain region proven to resist change (Limbic system)…and wrestle it into submission.

Excellent message! Where on earth did the balloon go?

During My Keynote Speeches and Motivational Seminars…

Here’s a taste of what your leaders are about to learn:

  • The essential fact of life you must understand if you are ever to achieve your true leadership potential. (When you harness this crucial “x-factor,” your team will rave about your motivation skills.)
  • How to leverage all three sides of the Extraordinary Success Triangle. (A drop-dead simple way to dramatically boost your effectiveness as a leader…Begin motivating your staff and multiplying your results.)
  • When dealing with a tough problem, the one thing you must do before looking for a solution. (This rock-solid principle – not cheesy motivational sound bite - will take you further, faster in every area of your professional life.)
  • How to dump the frustration that creates mental static, drives self-defeating behaviors and crushes your potential. (Simple, hardly-break-a-sweat psychological tactics for remaining focused, optimistic and productive under pressure.)
  • Learn scientific, sure-fire strategies (not “pseudo-inspirational” motivational speaker clichés) for expanding your outlook to encompass the points of view of your team and for defining a shared vision that drives effective action. (Nothing esoteric, just laughably straightforward ideas for wielding an unfair advantage and leaving your competition in the dust.)

I want to thank you so very much for your absolutely stellar motivational speech during our recent law conference. We wanted to start our conference with an energetic, upbeat keynote presentation and you provided that and more. Your program was both insightful and highly entertaining.

Have you ever killed someone?

Long before I became a motivational speaker, I was a cocky, know-it-all intern. Blissfully unaware, I was about to be slammed by psychological loopholes completely outside my radar.

At medical school, I hit the books for eight long years, earning degrees in clinical biochemistry and medicine. And, every summer, I got cracking on some kind of clinical science project. And, at graduation, I won cardiology, sociology and psychology prizes.

Nevertheless, as I began my medical career, I made a catastrophic blunder and came within a hair's breadth of being responsible for a patient's avoidable death.

Nightmares of being cold-cocked by the same cognitive pratfall a second time fueled my single-minded obsession to figure out exactly what happened. On reflection I realized the diagnosis seemed so clear-cut it didn’t occur to me to look at the patient’s situation from more than one point of view. This simple observation about human nature led me to a life changing discovery…

Here’s what I unearthed…

Hidden within journal articles (chock-full of neuroscientific jargon) were remarkable self-improvement secrets for sharpening your analytical skills to a finely honed edge. Primal insights for staying cool as ice (even when someone or something is pummeling your hot buttons) so you can remain laser-focused, optimistic and effective.

I made stacks of detailed notes about self-improvement strategies and teamwork enhancing ideas I had no idea even existed, but which I could immediately put to excellent use. Really inspiring stuff! Over time I drew together hundreds and hundreds of the best tips, tools and principles into a simple "Think - Feel - Act" approach to peak performance…Perspective PowerTM.

If you're looking to resurrect your leaders' passion, so they can shake off procrastination and surf a tidal wave of motivation towards greater productivity, read on…

Here’s my motivational speaking fee...

My fee for a motivational speech is $7500. Listen carefully: Here’s more important information…

  • Unlike most motivational speakers, for programs in the contiguous United States I cover my own travel expenses. (This means you can invite me to speak at your meeting at no additional cost.)
  • My motivational speeches and training seminars are 100% guaranteed. (I'm proud to say I consistently top the attendee evaluation forms and earn rave reviews - You can be absolutely confident I'll deliver a world-class inspirational speech.) That said, if I don’t exceed your audience's expectations, I'll return my fee.

And An Opportunity…

Like most meeting planners, you already know that finding an energizing (and entertaining) motivational speaker is tricky. If the keynote speaker you choose bombs, the 'thud' will echo throughout your entire meeting. (And people forced to endure a lousy inspirational speaker can be unforgiving in their feedback!)

Don't risk landing yourself in this unenviable position. If you're tiptoeing through the motivation-speaker-selection minefield, let me help. (Tel #: 972-352-6622)…

Here’s what will happen when you call...

  • I'll bend over backwards to ensure you look like a rock-star at your meeting…Regardless of whether you hire me as your keynote speaker or not! (How's that for a deal?)
  • I'll invite you to pound me with questions - any questions at all - until you’re entirely satisfied you have all the information you need to make the ideal choice of motivational speaker for your meeting. (In fact, feel free to invite your entire conference committee to join in.)
  • I won't squander a moment of your valuable time with a cheesy sales pitch. (Nor bug you to make a hasty decision.) I got a standing ovation at every motivational speech in 2008 (except one…you know who you are!) And I'm not going to risk this stellar reputation by accepting an invitation to present at an event where I wouldn't be a perfect fit. Make sense?
