Brain Power

I highly recommend anything by Shannon Bradford. Her powerful ideas have had a massive impact on my prosperity, happiness and fulfillment.

In Brain Power, Shannon uses the metaphor of the brain as an internet search engine to discuss strategies for getting more done, feeling less stressed, and enjoying more success.

Play To Win

A fantastic book asking the question: As you face your daily challenges and opportunities, do you play to win or not to lose? The authors draw a clear distinction between merely surviving and positively thriving in the adventure of your life.

This is a wonderful, challenging book full of simple, practical steps for choosing to go as far as you can with all that you have.

Do One Thing Different

The author, Bill O'Hanlon, a certified family therapist, is a pioneer of 'solution-orientated therapy'. This approach focuses on identifying the behaviors that give you positive results and using that knowledge to overcome problems.

The middle section of the book is called 'Changing the viewing of the problem'. Anyone who suggests solving problems by looking at them from a different perspective is obviously a smart guy!

The Luck Factor

Research undertaken by Dr. Richard Wiseman, has led him to conclude that people use a handful of simple strategies to create their own luck.

My only criticism of this fascinating book is that Dr. Wiseman stopped too soon in the practical application of his data. The principles outlined in 'The Luck Factor' share a common denominator – Perspective Power. The epiphenomenon that people refer to as 'luck' is actually the ability to see things differently. Highly recommended!
